Halloween Biker Bash
Gates open on Thursday morning on the 4th weekend of October every year.
Thursday Day 1
Thursday is for getting your camp together as well as looking up old friends and just kickin’ back. Bike games and fun in the playground start out the party, with the evening’s entertainment starting off with the Body Art Contest. No, not tatts, Don Tate’s own famous body painting, man, it’s coooooool.
A full night of awesome music, great stage shows, and a guitar or two around the Bon Fire to finish out the night.
Friday Day 2
10:00am it’s time to play, a full day of events in the playground, Bike, Trike, and People games, we do things a little different around here, the staff goes way beyond that of other so called “rallies” to make sure you are in the middle of things. We find so much crap for you to do you hardly have time to eat and sleep, no way to get bored here.
6:00pm Auction time. The Maria Ward Foundation is the reason for this event that has become a Friday and Saturday night ritual. Tracy “Woody” Daniels is one of the world’s top chainsaw artists, with numerous wins under his belt in events all over the country. The only way you can obtain one of his carvings is at this auction. Tracy donates a very generous amount of his earnings to the Foundation from this auction. After the auction other activities are going on while the first band is getting set up, including give-aways, tons of Tony and Maggie’s shirts are thrown off the stage along wiht all the swag donated by the vendors and local merchants. Don’t forget the nightly Body Art Contest, it’s next followed by the first band for the night.
10:00pm is always the 50/50 and other drawings involved in the day’s activities. Next up is your second band, sit back, be coooooool, and enjoy the awesome music. The first band break is what you guys have been waiting for, stage show time, this can become quite an ordeal with all the pretty girls we will have up on stage, know what I mean. One more set from the band, then we’re back down to the fire pit for the rest of the night. This is an event in its own rite, if you have been here, you know, if not, you’re in for a real treat.
Saturday Day 3
10:00am Here we go again. A full day, new games and events in the playground, never a dull moment. Need a break from the party? Take a real cool ride this morning. We will hook you up with some local info and ride maps.
5:00pm Award time. Everything from the longest hair, to the coolest camp, to the longest ride in, all winners get the coooooooooolest plaque you’ve ever seen. Tattoo contest is next, followed by the Auction again. Next we squeeze in the painted body art gig again. I never get tired of this one.
10:00pm Drawings followed by the Halloween Costume Contest. This is bad to the bone, man! Classes are: Classic- Girls & Guys, Classic- Doubles or Group, Naughty- Girls & Guys, Naughty- Doubles or Group, and the Most Unique. All judged by Tony, Miss Maggie, and the Picture Man. This is a no crap contest with real cool prizes and cash. Again, stage shows, the band, and the fire pit.
Sunday Day 4
9:00am Church service at the stage, please come down and join us. The services will be conducted by one of our motorcycle ministries that are here to assist us with the run. If you choose to stay in your camp and enjoy the service, it will be on the PA system for all to enjoy. Soon after we start our daily ritual all over again. We take it a little slower on Sunday. The band starts a little earlier today so we can close down a little earlier. It’s been a long 4 days.
The Diehards will be back by the fire pit for the remainder of the night, for those of you that have not punished your bodies enough!
To close, I would like to thank all that have attended this and all of the other events that my Family, Staff, and Friends have helped make possible for all to enjoy. All of you that attended for being so coooooooool and doing your part by helping with the trash, cig butts, and just overall being cool. I would like to also remind you to visit our vendors, keep plenty of fluids and food in you, and if you forget and need some help, remember where the EMTs are. We have a 24hr Paramedic staffed crew if you need them.
Also, please remember all the aluminum cans saved here go to the Maria Ward Foundation. That beats the land fill. Bag them up at your camp and our crew will get them in the right place if they know the difference between the cans and the trash. Thanks for your help!
