The “Maria Ward Foundation” is an eternal tribute to the life of Maria Ward (1980-2004). It was created to help ease the burden of costly and sometimes life saving medical procedures for children and adults alike. In today’s world not everyone can afford health insurance but everyone deserves the right to have access to health care, especially in times of great necessity. Like Maria Ward, this foundation will reach out to all that will listen, especially the ones that need it the most. If by the hand of God, someone must leave this earth before their time, as Maria did, we will help families that cannot afford to shoulder the heavy burden of funeral expenses.
We would like to thank the countless number of people that have contributed to the “Maria Ward Foundation”.
Thanks From Tony Ward
“TW”Included in the Thank You Notes link is an email that I received from a very wonderful lady. Without trying to impress anyone or toot anyone’s individual’s horn, I have asked that this be placed on the website for all to read as I feel like this came from the heart of a lady that had spent countless hours preparing for and putting on a poker run to help a family member as well as a dear friend.
Angie helped Mandy make a flyer, Mrs. Jan, you all know her as Jan’s T-shirts, made a few shirts and etc. The Maria Ward Foundation wrote a small check. Through other sponsorships, including me as well as some advice, countless emails and help from Lauria and numerous others, It was a very successful event.
I would like to personally Thank everyone that over the years, has sold the tickets, bought the carvings, Woody for the hundreds of hours of hard work on the carvings we auctioned, donated the pictures, sponsored the poker runs, came out in the good and bad weather to make it all happen, and to the thousands of miles traveled… My Hat is off to all of you.
Thanks.
Last but not least, I always call Harley girl for expertise and advice, then lucky me, she says I will take care of it.
Savanna received an operation that would of no way happened if Cindy had not used her knowledge and resources. As a result, that little girl has an arm that works perfectly. This is a couple of events that we have been fortunate to be a part of, there are way too many to list, all are just as important, and I’m very proud to have been allowed to be a part of all of them.
Maggie puts up with all of the BS. November the 3rd will be 37 years, most of all I thank her, which I love very much, and God for giving us Maria. I have always heard that God gives special babies to special moms, I know this is true now that we have experienced it first hand.
Through the Maria Ward Foundation, and thousands of awesome people, we like to call ourselves Bikers, we have made a difference in the world we live in.
Thank You
